A second arrest has been made in connection with the rape of a woman during a University of Central Florida fraternity party last month, police said.
Antonio Candido turned himself in to the Orange County Jail on Wednesday night. He is charged with sexual assault and false imprisonment.
Candido is a former member of Alpha Tau Omega and graduated from UCF in the spring of 2017. He turned himself in to the Orange County Jail Wednesday night.
Alexander Garces, a senior at UCF and member of ATO, was arrested on the same charges Monday.
The university has suspended the fraternity. Officials sent letters to Alpha Tau Omega, accusing the fraternity of lying after the woman reported the rape to police last month. It's unclear whether she's a student.
An Aug. 23 hearing is scheduled to determine whether the suspension stands.
It's the third time in five years the fraternity has been suspended.
