Ethiopia set to Host UN African Tourism Conference
Ethiopia is set to host the 59th UN African Tourism Conference which will be held from Thursday, April 27, 2017 to Saturday, April 29, 2017. This was disclosed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
200 people from different bodies are expected to participate in the conference. Among these are Secretary General of the International Tourism Organization.
The participants will be discussing activities that are underway in the African Tourism sector. The Conference will also give emphasis on the obstacles in the efforts to boost tourism in Africa and the way outs.
According to Walta Information Center, the event would open space for integrating African tourism with counterparts in other parts of the world.
