Ethiopian Planes Attacks Al-Shabaab Bases In Somalia


The Ethiopian military warplanes reportedly bombed several bases belonging to Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab militants in central Somalia.

The strikes happened an area sandwiched between Celqoxle and Masagawaa residential areas in Galgaduud region where Al Shabaab members were targeted.

The targeted Al Shabaab members are feared dead, sources have told Shabelle Media based in Mogadishu.

The exact casualty resulted from bombings by Ethiopian military jets could not be independently verified because of ruggedness of terrain.

The Ethiopian warplanes serving under African Union mission for Somalia (AMISOM) peacekeepers have been carrying out bombing against Al Shabaab bases in the region.

Ethiopian and other Africa countries have been fighting Al-Shabaab terrorists for years
