The Ethiopian Employee Who Calls A Bathroom A Home

image

In a small corner of Beirut, employers once again failed to see a human face above the hands that do its bidding and provide suitable accommodation for the Ethiopian worker who cleans the bathrooms of a facility located in Sodeco.

Instead the management in charge thought a small sized bathroom to call home would be suitable for the domestic helper, however failed to acknowledge that by doing so they are exercising racism and human rights breaches at the highest level.

The photos that were published by activist Muna Khalidi on Facebook have since stirred outrage.
