Ethiopia: Council of Ministers Decide to Lift State of Emergency

Awramba Times (Addis Ababa) –
The Council of Ministers of Ethiopia in its regular meeting today reviewed the security situation of the country.

According to ato Fitsum Arega, chief of staff of the prime minister office, the council noted that the law and order of the nation has been restored. It has approved a draft law that enable to lift the State of Emergency and the draft will be sent to Parliament for its consideration in the next few days.
