Over 50,000 Students Graduates from Eight Public Universities Over 50,000 Students Graduates from Eight Public Universities

Eight public universities graduated more than 50,000 students with first, second and third degree programs on July 8, 2017.

The public universities are Addis Ababa, Haramaya, Mekelle, Gondar, Arba Minch, Jimma, Wollo and Adama universities.


Addis Ababa and Mekelle universities graduated 10,900 and 8,289 students, respectively, whereas University of Gondar and Arba Minch University graduated 6,740 and 5,513 students, respectively.

Similarly, Haramaya University and Jimma University (in two rounds) graduated 8,479 and 5,337 students, respectively.
