Public relation head of the Ministry, Amakle Yimam, told Walta Information Center that Ethiopia earned close to USD 1.1 billion from the export of agricultural, manufacturing and mining products in the past five months of the current budget year. The Ministry was able to achieve 74.7 percent of its plan. The Ministry’s target for export earnings for the five month period was a little over USD 1.4 billion. However, revenue has decreased by almost 8 percents compared to the performance of the same period of the last budget year, he said.
